In this episode, I talk with three graduates of AP Chemistry about what they liked best about the course, what they liked least about the course, what they did to be successful, and what advice they have for current AP chemistry students. Many thanks to the interviewees, who gave up an afternoon to help me record!
Current students should listen to this podcast episode either by streaming it below, or better yet, by subscribing to the podcast on itunes. This episode should be up there by Thursday at the latest. After you have listened through either medium, comment on this post. Did you get a good idea? Did you agree with some things the students said? Do you have further questions? These are great things to comment on.

BaLiCKI's Science Class podcast
My new project this year is going to be to create a podcast that current & former students, colleagues, and parents can subscribe and listen to in order to learn about what happens in my chemistry classes at BLS. The first episode is a 15 minute introduction to me, my philosophy of education, my grading policy, and some helpful hints about being successful in my classes.
This is a learning experience for me. Currently you should be able to stream podcasts from the site. Soon you should be able to get them from itunes too. Feel free to comment if you like it, or if you have an idea for a future episode!

Chemistry 1: Comment on your classmates' websites
Is there anything that you do not fully understand about the atom? Curious what another group's take on your topic was? Read what your classmates learned and comment on it here. Feel free to give warm or cool feedback, just be polite. Although projects are organized by class, feel free to read and comment on projects from other class sections. My goal is for everyone to read and comment on at least one other topic/website.
AP Chemistry discussion group
Let's try and use this blog as a line of communication outside of class. I am learning how to use eBlogger as we go here, but my thinking is that it will be useful for you to be in contact with each other for course topics.
